Sounds from a Listening Body — Vocal Semester Course

Original price was: 1.299,00 €.Current price is: 1.149,00 €.

This 3-month vocal semester course in Berlin is led by Gugulethu Anathi Duma (Dumama) — a somatic, deep-listening approach to vocal training that treats the voice as a resonant archive. Across 12 weekly sessions (Wednesdays, 17:30–21:30, starting September 16), you’ll dismantle performance anxiety, explore improvisation and movement, and bridge analog vocal work with digital composition — culminating in a collective choir performance.

Description

Introducing “Sounds from a Listening Body,” a 3-month vocal intensive with Gugulethu Anathi Duma (Dumama). This space is deeply rooted in listening, somatic care, and improvisational frameworks rooted in liberation.

Join us to move past performance anxiety and creative blocks. Together, we’ll attune the voice, body, and electronic vocal effects to expand your vocal capacity.

Dumama (composer for Dzata: School of Technological Consciousness) reminds us: tools are shaping you, you are shaping tools.

12 weeks. Wednesdays. Starting September 16.

Ending in a collective choir performance.
