At a glance
Modular synthesizers look complicated, but the idea is simple: every module does one job, and you connect them with cables to build your own sound. In this two-day workshop with Chang Rodrigues you learn the basics from the ground up, with no experience needed.
You start with how a modular system works: oscillators, filters, envelopes, LFOs and how signal flows between them. Then you patch, listen and experiment, with your hands on the cables and knobs.
By the end of the weekend you can build a sound from scratch, shape it, and understand what you are doing instead of just turning knobs. The workshop suits anyone curious about modular synthesis, whether you are starting from zero or want to make sense of a system you already have.
