HOW IT WORKS
Tuesday to Friday, four hours each day with a different instructor at ACUD Club. Each session is a deep dive into their personal approach — technique, selection, reading a room, building a set. Every instructor brings a completely different style and philosophy. By the end of the week you’ll have four perspectives on the same craft.
On Friday evening, the club opens its doors. Students and teachers play together in a B2B format — with a real audience. Friday night is a real gig. A real crowd. That’s not a metaphor.
YOUR INSTRUCTORS
RETHE
Berlin-based DJ, producer and live performer with releases on ARTS, Illegal Alien and BCCO. An expert at track selection, storytelling through DJing, and outside-the-box mixing techniques. Core instructor at Berlin School of Sound.
PAULA SCHOPF (CHICA PAULA)
Chilean-born, Berlin-based DJ with over 25 years behind the decks. Started at Tresor in 1997. Master’s degree in Sound Studies from UdK Berlin. Regular at ://about blank, Tresor, and Club der Visionäre. Her sets are unpredictable, fearless, and impossible to categorize.
ACIDFINKY
German/Amazigh-Algerian DJ and producer. Deep commitment to vinyl, sharp drums, strong basslines. Founding member of feminist collective BLVSH. Runs Maison Sot — an interdisciplinary event series between Berlin and Cairo.
BŁAŻEJ MALINOWSKI
Polish producer and DJ with over 20 years in electronic music. Founder of Inner Tension label. Released on Semantica, Warm Up Recordings, Silent Season. Known for hypnotic depth and relentless atmosphere.

ACIDFINKY — Personal sound identity, community building through music, bridging retro and cutting-edge club sounds.
Day 3 — Thursday, 16 July · 14:00–18:00
CHICA PAULA — Musical storytelling, genre-crossing set building, vinyl and digital techniques, 25 years of lessons from Berlin’s clubs.
Day 4 — Friday, 17 July · 14:00–18:00
BŁAŻEJ MALINOWSKI — Track selection, layering, creating atmosphere, the art of hypnotic mixing.
Friday evening — B2B Night at ACUD Club

WHO IS THIS FOR
This is for people who are serious. You don’t need experience — but you need to want it for real. If you’ve ever stood in a club watching a DJ and thought “I want to be up there” — this is your week.
Berlin’s music scene doesn’t care about your resumé. It cares about what you do behind the decks. After Friday night, you’ll have done it.
FAQ
Do I need DJ experience?
No. All levels welcome. Each instructor adapts to the room. The only requirement is enthusiasm. By Friday, everyone plays.
Will I really play in front of an audience on Friday?
Yes. That’s the whole point. The B2B night is a real event with real people. You’ll play alongside your instructors — but you will be performing. This is where the learning becomes real.
What music should I bring?
Bring what you love. If you’re a beginner and don’t have a collection yet — your instructors will help you prepare during the week. No genre requirement.
Refund policy?
No refunds. If you can’t attend, your payment applies to any future BSoS workshop or course. Spots are transferable at any time.
