Build your own synthesizer in 5 evenings.
No experience needed. You start from zero β you leave with a functioning noise synthesizer you built yourself, using CMOS logic circuits, a custom enclosure, potentiometers and audio jacks. It’s yours to keep.
Led by CorazΓ³n de Robota β Chilean sound artist based in Berlin, Honorary Mention at Prix Ars Electronica 2020, known for building all her instruments by hand inside heart-shaped chocolate boxes.
What happens in 5 evenings
Day 1 β Circuit theory basics. Reading diagrams. First breadboard prototype.
Day 2 β Building the oscillator circuit. First sounds.
Day 3 β Soldering onto copper board. Your circuit becomes permanent.
Day 4 β Custom enclosure: drilling, mounting potentiometers, switches and audio jacks.
Day 5 β Final assembly. Public group listening session β all synths played together at ACUD.
