Antje Vowinckel

Antje Vowinckel teaches sound art courses at Berlin School of Sound — composition, field recording, and experimental practice with one of Germany’s most awarded sound artists.

Composer, sound artist, radio art author. Antje’s work lives at the intersection of speech, everyday sound, and experimental composition. Her pieces have been broadcast in 18 countries. Awards include Prix Europa, Karl-Sczuka-Förderpreis, Prix Ars Electronica, Prix Phonurgia Nova (1st place, 2024), and Sound Cinema Award (1st place, 2023).

Sound art — from the ground up. Composition with found sound, field recording techniques, listening as practice, building your first installation. No academic prerequisites. You bring curiosity, she brings 25 years of experience.
