1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made through the Berlin School of Sound online shop at berlinschoolofsound.com. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
2. Registration and Payment
Registration for a course or workshop is confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Places are limited and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Your registration is binding upon payment.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Berlin School of Sound is a small, artist-run nonprofit school. Due to the nature of our operations and the need to maintain financial continuity, we are unable to offer cash refunds once payment has been received.
If you are unable to attend a course or workshop you have paid for, the amount paid can be transferred and applied as credit toward any other Berlin School of Sound course, workshop, or event. This credit remains valid for 12 months from the date of the original purchase.
Credit transfers must be requested by email to admin@berlinschoolofsound.com no later than 48 hours before the start of the course or workshop.
4. Course Cancellation by Berlin School of Sound
In the unlikely event that Berlin School of Sound cancels a course or workshop (e.g. due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances), registered participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer their payment to another course.
5. Changes to Schedule or Instructors
Berlin School of Sound reserves the right to make changes to course schedules, dates, or instructors where necessary. Our instructors are active, working artists — changes may occasionally be required due to touring, performances, concerts, or other professional commitments. Participants will be notified as early as possible. Such changes do not entitle participants to a refund.
6. Liability
Berlin School of Sound is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in courses or workshops. Participants attend at their own risk.
7. Data Protection
Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable EU data protection law (GDPR). Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Place of jurisdiction is Berlin.

1. Geltungsbereich
Diese Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen gelten für alle Käufe, die über den Online-Shop der Berlin School of Sound unter berlinschoolofsound.com getätigt werden. Mit dem Abschluss eines Kaufs bestätigen Sie, dass Sie diese Bedingungen gelesen, verstanden und akzeptiert haben.
2. Anmeldung und Zahlung
Die Anmeldung zu einem Kurs oder Workshop wird nach Eingang der vollständigen Zahlung bestätigt. Die Plätze sind begrenzt und werden nach dem Prinzip „first come, first served” vergeben. Ihre Anmeldung ist mit der Zahlung verbindlich.
3. Stornierung und Rückerstattung
Die Berlin School of Sound ist eine kleine, von Künstler:innen geführte gemeinnützige Schule. Aufgrund der Art unseres Betriebs und der Notwendigkeit, die finanzielle Kontinuität zu wahren, können wir nach Zahlungseingang keine Rückerstattungen in bar anbieten.
Wenn Sie an einem bereits bezahlten Kurs oder Workshop nicht teilnehmen können, kann der gezahlte Betrag als Guthaben auf einen anderen Kurs, Workshop oder eine andere Veranstaltung der Berlin School of Sound übertragen werden. Dieses Guthaben ist 12 Monate ab dem Datum des ursprünglichen Kaufs gültig.
Gutschriftübertragungen müssen per E-Mail an admin@berlinschoolofsound.com spätestens 48 Stunden vor Beginn des Kurses oder Workshops beantragt werden.
4. Kursabsage durch die Berlin School of Sound
Im unwahrscheinlichen Fall, dass die Berlin School of Sound einen Kurs oder Workshop absagt (z. B. aufgrund unzureichender Anmeldezahlen oder unvorhergesehener Umstände), erhalten angemeldete Teilnehmer:innen eine vollständige Rückerstattung oder die Möglichkeit, ihre Zahlung auf einen anderen Kurs zu übertragen.
5. Änderungen von Terminen oder Dozent:innen
Die Berlin School of Sound behält sich das Recht vor, Kurszeiten, Termine oder Dozent:innen bei Bedarf zu ändern. Unsere Dozent:innen sind aktive, berufstätige Künstler:innen — Änderungen können gelegentlich aufgrund von Tourneen, Auftritten, Konzerten oder anderen beruflichen Verpflichtungen erforderlich sein. Die Teilnehmer:innen werden so früh wie möglich benachrichtigt. Solche Änderungen berechtigen nicht zur Rückerstattung.
6. Haftung
Die Berlin School of Sound haftet nicht für mittelbare, zufällige oder Folgeschäden, die sich aus der Teilnahme an Kursen oder Workshops ergeben. Die Teilnahme erfolgt auf eigene Gefahr.
7. Datenschutz
Ihre personenbezogenen Daten werden gemäß unserer Datenschutzerklärung und dem geltenden EU-Datenschutzrecht (DSGVO) verarbeitet. Ihre Daten werden ohne Ihre Zustimmung nicht an Dritte weitergegeben.
8. Anwendbares Recht
Diese Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen unterliegen dem Recht der Bundesrepublik Deutschland. Gerichtsstand ist Berlin.
