PAULA SCHOPF (CHICA PAULA)
Chilean-born, Berlin-based DJ with over 25 years behind the decks. Started at Tresor in 1997. Master’s degree in Sound Studies from UdK Berlin. Regular at ://about blank, Tresor, and Club der VisionΓ€re. Her sets are unpredictable, fearless, and impossible to categorize. She teaches the way she selects β with depth, intuition, and total commitment to the music.
ACIDFINKY
German/Amazigh-Algerian DJ and producer. Deep commitment to vinyl, sharp drums, strong basslines. Founding member of feminist collective BLVSH. Runs Maison Sot β an interdisciplinary event series between Berlin and Cairo. Her lessons are rooted in record culture, identity, and sound as a political act.

Do I need to bring my own equipment?
No. Everything is provided. If you have your own laptop or controller, bring it β we’ll work with it.
How many lessons do I need?
Depends on your goals. Most beginners see real progress after 5β10 lessons. We’ll figure out the right plan in the first session.
Can I learn on vinyl?
Yes. Technics turntables and vinyl are available.
Do you offer online lessons?
No β lessons are in-person only. Hands-on learning with professional equipment is the whole point.
Can I focus entirely on Elektron gear?
Yes. RETHE specializes in Elektron workflow. We can build the whole program around Digitakt, Digitone, and Octatrack.
