Description

MAX MSP Workshop – Making Programmable Units

Saturday, March 14, 2026 🕐 Time: 10:00 – 16:00

Turn Your Code Into Hardware. For Real.

You’ve built patches. Maybe in MAX MSP, maybe just in your head. But what if they could live outside your laptop? This workshop teaches you to program Daisy DSP boards—tiny processors that run your MAX MSP creations as standalone hardware devices.

What You’ll Build: Custom audio effects and instruments that work without a computer. Your reverb. Your granular synth. Your weird glitch processor. All running on hardware you programmed yourself.

What You’ll Learn:

  • MAX MSP fundamentals (or level up if you know basics)
  • Programming Daisy Seed DSP boards
  • Converting MAX patches to embedded code
  • Signal flow and audio processing architecture
  • Hardware integration and prototyping
  • Testing and troubleshooting your devices

Walk out with a working prototype. No soldering required—this is pure programming and patching.
