::.LIMINAL is a dance/performance based art film experience that uses Berlin’s architecture as a second skin to create a visual choreography of the contemporary experience of liminality and the need of becoming in our current historic moment.

::.LIMINAL is a combination of techniques and formats. It is:*Expanded cinema: a film which is based on recording video-mapped performing bodies projected on public space to create the contents of the short film.*Live-cinema: an event where the contents of the film are remixed and re-composed live onto video-mapped architecture.*A dance/performance short film.*An artfilm.Its presentation in different places covers the logics of the film:

1) As a dance choreographic film: at AnaConda am Ufer (Uferstudios).

2) As an artfilm: at Moviemento Kino.

3) As a live-cinema videomapping event: the film will be remixed-performed live on the facade of Anhalter Bahnhof (Exilmuseum).

4) And as a live-cinema performance with live soundtrack mixed by Diane Barbé incorporating musical compositions for the film by Ángel Sánchez Borges: at Berlin School of Sound (ACUD).

Ein Kurzfilm und ein Live-Kino-Videomapping-Erlebnis basierend auf einer Tanzperformance in Grenzräumen in Berlin

::.LIMINAL ist ein auf Tanz/Performance basierendes Kunstfilmerlebnis, das die Architektur Berlins als zweite Haut nutzt, um eine visuelle Choreografie der zeitgenössischen Erfahrung von Liminalität und der Notwendigkeit des Werdens in unserem aktuellen historischen Moment zu schaffen.

::.LIMINAL ist eine Kombination von Techniken und Formaten. Es ist:
*Expanded cinema: ein Film, der auf der Aufnahme von videografierten darstellenden Körpern basiert, die auf den öffentlichen Raum projiziert werden, um den Inhalt des Kurzfilms zu schaffen.
*Live-Kino: ein Ereignis, bei dem der Inhalt des Films live auf einer mit Videoaufnahmen versehenen Architektur neu gemischt und komponiert wird.
*Ein Tanz-/Performance-Kurzfilm.
*Ein Kunstfilm.

::.LIMINAL bezieht sich auf den Liminalraum, denNullbereich zwischen zwei Grenzen, einen Raum der Mehrdeutigkeit und des Übergangs, einen Ort, an dem man den Kontext verliert und in einer Leere schwebt, unfähig, die eine oder andere Realität zu erfassen. Es ist ein Kunstwerk, das die Grenzen der Bühne überschreiten und die Erfahrung durch 3D-Videoprojektionen auf Gebäude und erweitertes Kino in den öffentlichen Raum tragen will.
